Intensive Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Power Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in the region
The country's power facilities have come under increased attacks in recent weeks

During the night, Russian missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and faced disruption to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

At the same time, a young boy was killed in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has increased attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing protection systems and enforcing restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles struck energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the strikes on the city have been hospitalized, according to local officials.

Local officials said the city endured heavy assaults overnight. A young boy died and several individuals were hurt.

The assaults succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The whole nation is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to spot.

Government officials told reporters that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with assaults already impacting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and officials were preparing for further attacks.
